    I would like to enquire into the epitope which you use to raise your Rad52 antibodies ab18264 and ab61211. I am working with truncated Human Rad52 variants that are all truncated at the C-terminus. My shortest protein will contain the first 238 amino acids of human Rad52. Will these antibodies react with my species? Thank you very much for your help. Have a nice day!

The originator has informed me that they do not have the immunogen sequence for ab18264 but can say that the immunogen was a His tagged pure full length recombinant Rad52. I am sorry I can't be of more assistance in this occasion but if there is anything else that I can help you with, please do not hesitate to contact me.

    A customer purchased ab18264 and is going to do western and IP. Would you please tell us the working concentration for these two assays? Although the datasheet said it depends on the assay, the customer needs an exact answer.

    Thank you for your patience waiting for a response to your enquiry. I have now received details of a reference for this antibody (ab18264): The Embo Journal. 18 (22), p6552-6560 1999. The meiosis specific recombinase hDmcl forms ring structures and interacts with hRad51. Masson et al. Although this does not have precise details of concentrations that can be used for IP and western blotting for this antibody, I hope it will help.
