Antiserum was solid phase absorbed to ensure class specificity. Antiserum was cross absorbed using human, mouse, rat immunosorbents to remove cross reactive antibodies. This antibody was isolated by affinity chromatography using antigen coupled to agarose beads. Fragments were conjugated to FITC.
