Ce sérum est collecté dans des tubes en plastique et laissé coagulé sur glace pour 20 à 30 minutes. Ensuite le sérum est centrifugé pour séparer le sérum du coagulat. Nous n'avons pas testé ce sérum pour la concentration restante de fibrine. Je peux confirmer que ce sérum ne contient pas des agents ajoutés, comme des agents anti-coagulation ou des conservateurs toxiques.

Le sérum est ensuite filtré 0.22um pour stériliser et a été testé pour confirmer l’absence de bactérie. Ce sérum est obtenu de souris saines sans médication ou antibiotiques.

Par contre ce produit n'a pas été testé pour une utilisation in vivo et donc cette application n’est pas couverte par la garantie Abpromise pour ce produit.

We have not used the product for the application the customer wishes to use it for but I see no reason why it would not be suitable. The product has been aseptically filtered through a Millipore 0.22 micron filter into clean, pre-sterilized containers and tested to confirm the absence of bacteria.

Is this serum heat inactivated?

Thank you for your telephone enquiry yesterday afternoon. I can confirm that this mouse serum ab7486 has not been heat inactivated. I can recommend if you do need to heat inactivate it to use the following procedure: 1. Thaw the serum slowly to 37°C and mix the contents thoroughly. 2. Place the thawed bottle of serum into a 56°C water bath containing enough water to immerse the vial to just above the level of the serum. 3. Begin timing for 30 minutes. Swirl the serum every 5 to 10 minutes to ensure uniform heating and to prevent protein coagulation. 4. After 30 minutes at 56°C cool the serum immediately, preferrably in an ice bath. Thank you for your enquiry. Further to correspondence with the source of this antibody I have determined that the concentration of ab11842 is 0.125 ug/ml. ab11842 is a tissue culture supernatant. The total protein concentration of ab7486 has not been determined but ranges from 80mg - 90mg/mL of serum.
