For ab136932: This protein is of invertebrate origin, specifically the cnidarian, Hydra. Thus, it is neither of mouse nor human origin. We will add this important information to the datasheet shortly.

For ab81484: The supplying lab has only limited supplies of this protein and would like to know how much protein would you require?

As discussed over the phone, unfortunately we are currently experiencing some problems in the production of the Wnt3 protein (ab81484) and we are unlikely to have it in stock for the foreseeable future. We have suggested to try ab136932 as an alternative. However, we do not unfortunately have any information as to whether this is likely to perform in functional assays. It may be that the protein has biological acitivty, but as thishas not been tested we cannot guarantee it.

This protein should be reconstituted in water to a concentration of 1.0 mg/ml. This solution can be stored at 2-8oC for up to 1 week. For extended storage, it is recommended to further dilute in a buffer containing a carrier protein (example 0.1% BSA) and store in working aliquots at -20oC to -80oC. The buffer that this antibody was lyophilized in is a 10 mM Sodium Phosphate, pH 7.5 + 500mM NaCl + 0.5% CHAPS buffer, thus the addition of CHAPS is unnecessary.
