    Capable of hydrolyzing lactones and a number of aromatic carboxylic acid esters. Has antioxidant activity. Is not associated with high density lipoprotein. Prevents LDL lipid peroxidation, reverses the oxidation of mildly oxidized LDL, and inhibits the ability of MM-LDL to induce monocyte chemotaxis.

Hello: We are interested in purchasing the product with Code: ab53379, which is a Human Paraoxonase 2 Recombinant protein. But we have a few technical questions: a) Has this product been tested for activity? If yes, what is the specific activity? b) Was it prepared from inclusion bodies, or was it in the soluble fraction? c) What is the sequence (if different from the one on NCBI), and Is there a thrombin site between your His Tag and the protein? d) What would be the turn around time if we place an order for 1mg of this product? Thank you for your enquiry and your interest in our products. Here are the answers to your questions regarding ab53379 - PON2 protein: a) The proteins have not been tested for biological activity but they have been successful in immunoassay applications. b) The proteins have been prepared from inclusion bodies. c) The sequence is more than likely the same as the one on NCBI. The Randox protein comes with a 4 kDa leader sequence containing a hexahistidine tag. There is an enterokinase site between the tag and the protein. d) We have this protein in stock and can ship as soon as the order is placed.
