      Involved in 3'-UTR ARE-mediated MYC stabilization. Binds avidly to the AU-rich element in FOS and IL3/interleukin-3 mRNAs. In the case of the FOS AU-rich element, HUR binds to a core element of 27 nucleotides that contain AUUUA, AUUUUA and AUUUUUA motifs.

    I have just received the full length protein for HuR mentioned in the subject line. The paperwork included does not mention how much protein was loaded into the gel in the image included. Do you have that information or at least a recommendation of how much to load in a Western blot?

    The image on the datasheet is a SDS PAGE image rather than a western blot, so the amount of protein loaded for that particular gel is not necessarily applicable to your western blot. For purified protein such as ab152360 we recommend loading 10 - 100 ng per lane. For lysates we recommend loading 20-30 ug of total protein.
