The substrate used with (ab84552) Active human CaMKII delta full length protein is the synthetic peptide KKALRRQETVDAL-amide. The peptide is diluted in distilled water to 1mg/ml. Normally use around 10ul of diluted kinase for a single kinase assay.

Why is the molecular weight of this protein near 72kDa?

The recombinant protein also includes an N-terminal tag which has a molecular weight of 26kDa. This is the reason we expect to see ab84552 to produce a band near 72kDa. Thanks!
