Our carrier-free antibodies are typically supplied in a PBS-only formulation, purified and free of BSA, sodium azide and glycerol. The carrier-free buffer and high concentration allow for increased conjugation efficiency.
This conjugation-ready format is designed for use with fluorochromes, metal isotopes, oligonucleotides, and enzymes, which makes them ideal for antibody labelling, functional and cell-based assays, flow-based assays (e.g. mass cytometry) and Multiplex Imaging applications.

TREX1 is the major 3'->5' DNA exonuclease in human cells. The protein is a non processive exonuclease that may serve a proofreading function for a human DNA polymerase. It is also a component of the SET complex, and acts to rapidly degrade 3' ends of nicked DNA during granzyme A mediated cell death. Mutations in this gene result in Aicardi Goutieres syndrome, chilblain lupus, and Cree encephalitis. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. -

Confocal image showing increased cytoplasmic and nuclear staining in RAW 264.7 cells treated with lipopolysaccharides (LPS, 500 ng/mL) for 24 h. ab195889. TREX1 was immunoprecipitated from 10 μg RAW 264.7 (mouse Abelson murine leukemia virus-induced tumor macrophage) treated with 500ng/ml LPS for 24h whole cell lysate with ab300445 at 1/30 dilution. Western blot was performed from the immunoprecipitate using ab300445 at 1/1000 dilution. VeriBlot for IP secondary antibody (HRP) (ab131366), was used as secondary antibody at 1/5000 dilution.
Lane 1: RAW 264.7 treated with 500ng/ml LPS for 24h whole cell lysate 10 μg (Input).
Lane 2: RAW 264.7 treated with 500ng/ml LPS for 24h whole cell lysate.
Lane 3: Rabbit monoclonal IgG (ab172730) instead of ab300445 in RAW 264.7 treated with 500ng/ml LPS for 24h whole cell lysate.
Blocking and dilution buffer: 5% NFDM/TBST.
Exposure time: 5.5 seconds.
