ab300430 is a carrier free version of ab300429.
Our carrier-free antibodies are typically supplied in a PBS-only formulation, purified and free of BSA, sodium azide and glycerol. The carrier-free buffer and high concentration allow for increased conjugation efficiency.
This conjugation-ready format is designed for use with fluorochromes, metal isotopes, oligonucleotides, and enzymes, which makes them ideal for antibody labelling, functional and cell-based assays, flow-based assays (e.g. mass cytometry) and Multiplex Imaging applications.
Use our conjugation kits for antibody conjugates that are ready-to-use in as little as 20 minutes with <1 minute hands-on-time and 100% antibody recovery: available for fluorescent dyes, HRP, biotin and gold.

This data was developed using ab300429, the same antibody clone in a different buffer formulation.
Flow Cytometry (Intracellular) analysis of human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) labeling TLR8 with ab300429 at a 1/50 dilution (Right) or Isotype control - Rabbit monoclonal IgG (ab172730) (Left). Cells were fixed with 2% paraformaldehyde and permeabilized with 0.1% Tween-20. A Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (Alexa Fluor® 488, (ab150081)) was used as the secondary antibody at a 1/2000 dilution. Cells were stained with anti-CD14 conjugated to BV510. Fixed with 2% PFA for 10 min followed by intracellularly staining with rabbit IgG or ab300429.

Confocal image showing weak staining in THP-1 cells treated 12-O-Tetradecanoylphorbol-13-acetate (80 nM) for 16 h, and showing increased staining at the membrane in THP-1 cell treated with 12-O-Tetradecanoylphorbol-13-acetate (80nM) for 16 h, then together with human Interferon-γ (20ng/ml) for another 8 h. The nuclear counterstain is DAPI (blue).
