      Receptor for prostaglandin E2 (PGE2); the EP3 receptor may be involved in inhibition of gastric acid secretion, modulation of neurotransmitter release in central and peripheral neurons, inhibition of sodium and water reabsorption in kidney tubulus and contraction in uterine smooth muscle. The activity of this receptor can couple to both the inhibition of adenylate cyclase mediated by G-I proteins, and to an elevation of intracellular calcium. The various isoforms have identical ligand binding properties but can interact with different second messenger systems.

Our customer raises inquiries about our products: Anti-COX1 / Cyclooxygenase 1 antibody, Anti-Prostaglandin E Receptor EP3 antibody, and Anti-Prostaglandin E Receptor EP4 antibody. She would like to conduct the IHC-P in rabbit sample unfortunately, there is no suitable items (not covered by the Abpromise). She sincerely needs your help to obtain the suggested antibodies. But I am happy to confirm that for COX2 / Cyclooxygenase 2 antibody and Anti-Prostaglandin E Receptor EP3 I found antibodies that are tested in IHC-P. The immunogens of these antibodies show a high homology with the tested species and rabbit.
