    General Rab protein regulator required for vesicle formation from the Golgi complex. May control vesicle docking and fusion by mediating the action of Rab GTPases to the SNARE complexes. In addition it inhibits the removal of Rab GTPases from the membrane by GDI.

    Lanes 1-3: Merged signal (red and green). Green - ab76413 observed at 21 kDa. Red - loading control ab7291 observed at 50 kDa.

    ab76413 Anti-PRA1 antibody [EPR1747Y] was shown to specifically react with PRA1 in wild-type HeLa cells. Loss of signal was observed when knockout cell line ab265702 (knockout cell lysate ab258162) was used. Wild-type and PRA1 knockout samples were subjected to SDS-PAGE. ab76413 and Anti-alpha Tubulin antibody [DM1A] - Loading Control (ab7291) were incubated overnight at 4°C at 1 in 1000 dilution and 1 in 20000 dilution respectively. Blots were developed with Goat anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (IRDye® 800CW) preadsorbed (ab216773) and Goat anti-Mouse IgG H&L (IRDye® 680RD) preadsorbed (ab216776) secondary antibodies at 1 in 20000 dilution for 1 hour at room temperature before imaging.

Question

We purchased this summer PRA-1 antibody (cat# ab76413). Now we are asking about the concentration of this antibody. The specific  lot number was GR28817-2.

Thank you for contacting us. The concentration for ab76413, lot GR28817-2, is 1.095 mg/mL. It was measured using ELISA, so the IgG concentration is accurate for a tissue culture supernatant. We do not measure concentration with a UV spectrophotometer in this case. I hope this information is helpful to you. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need any more advice or information.
