PPP2R5B also known as Protein Phosphatase 2 Regulatory Subunit B56 Beta is a regulatory subunit of protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A). It has a molecular mass of approximately 56 kDa. This protein is expressed in various tissues with higher expression in the brain heart and skeletal muscle. Its mechanical function involves modulating PP2A activity by directing the phosphatase to specific substrates which impacts diverse cellular processes.
