      1mg whole cell lysate from HeLa cells was immunoprecipitated using ab70804 at 3ug/mg of lysate. for the subsequent western blot, 20% of the immunoprecipitate was probed with ab70804 at 1ug/ml.
      Detection: chemiluminescence with exposure time of 10 seconds.

    Question

    For this antibody, I use a fresh dilution each time.
    The previous vials always worked fine. This experiment was a repeat of a previous and this vial should thus also be able to detect PPM1B. Even in a 1/500 dilution, this was not the case. Unfortunately, since the previous vial was empty, I have no way of comparing.
    Therefore, may i kindly ask if it would be possible to be refunded or to get another vial of anti-PPM1B antibody (ab70804), since previous vials worked very good.

    The order number of the antibody is 212005965. The batch number I can no longer specify. We ordered the vial on 11/06/2012 directly from abcam and received it on the 14th of june. When we received the product, we stored it at 4°C.

    I have looked at our record and it seems that all the vials you purchased are from the same bleed and purification; so there is no difference between the previously purchased and the recent vials.

    - Are you using the same samples (aliquots) or prepared fresh samples each time?

    - Have you got comparative results (ie. head-to-head experiments) with the previous vials and the recent vial?

The last batch that I received does not give a signal, even in 1/500 dilution.
