    We are interested in this anti-PCDH12 ab for our work in the mouse.
    Could you please send us the sequence of the peptide antigen?

    Thank you for contacting us and sorry for the delay in getting back to you.


    I am sorry, the exact sequence of the peptide used to generate the anti-PCDH12 antibody (ab113720) is proprietary.I can however tell youthat the peptide is located at the amino terminus of the protein and shows 70 % identity and 76 % homology when compared to the corresponding sequence in mouse. We would therefore not recommend trying this antibody to detect PCDH12 in mouse samples.


    Unfortunately the only other antibody we have against this target (ab82885) has been raised against residues 612-661 of human PCDH12 andshares 78 % homology with the mouse protein (SwissProt reference O55134). We would therefore again notrecommend this antibody for detecting mouse protein.
