    I will need to ship the Anti-Npas4 antibody (ab76758) which I ordered from abcam.com, from the US to Hungary. It is currently stored at -20C. What would be the best conditions to ship it, temperature wise?

    We do not recommend shipping products from the US to Hungary as we don't have any experience with this and don't know how long it will take or if there will be any customs issues. We do ship directly from our UK office to Hungary, so I would recommend that your colleague in Hungary just order directly from our UK office. We ship this antibody from the UK at 4°C and it generally takes a few days.

    I have been using ab110855 for IHC with good results and recently also used it for a western blot and compared it with ab76758. The two antibodies produce identical bands but of particular interest is a 35kDa band which we have evidence might correspond with a novel splice variant of npas4. The issue is that this splice variant lacks the peptide that was used to generate ab110855(as per the antibody data sheet amino acids 602-652).
    I wanted to ensure that there were not two peptide epitopes used in the production of ab110855 as was the case with ab76758 (see below); as this is would support my theory of an alternatively spliced naps4 rather than non-specific binding. Thank you for your help,
