    Thank you for contacting us.
    As we haven't tested the cross-reactivity for this antibodies, it is very much likely that they will react with other albumins.
    Therefore, I would suggest to use milk as a blocking agent (0.5% Skim milk/PBS for 1 hour). However, I would suggest not to use Biotin based detection method to avoid high background.
    In addition, as anti-goat antibodies can cross-react with IgG from cows, I would actually rather suggest ab24325 or ab34807 for your customer.

    Further to our telephone conversation I have been in touch with the lab with regards the source of this immunogen for use as a positive control. Unfortunately they were unsure where the mouse serum albumin was sourced from. I can only recommend that you try sourcing it from Sigma, who I know sell the protein.     Thank you for your enquiry. I have been in touch with the lab and I can confirm that rabbit polyclonal to Mouse Serum Albumin (ab34807) was tested by ELISA by coating each well with 1ug mouse serum albumin. The antibody was then added to the wells in a serial dilution. After washing the HRP labeled secondary was added and then TMB was used to image. I have attached the spreadsheet of the raw data in a follow up email for your information.
