Question

I would like to use this antibody in an assay in which I add a small amount of antibody to a drop of blood on a slide and look for agglutination.  What would be the recommended amount of antibody for this?

Thank you for contacting Abcam regarding ab24215, our Anti-M Blood Group antigen antibody [GH-9]. I have consulted with the laboratory regarding the use of this antibody for your purposes.  They advised adding about 10ul of neat antibody to the blood and then titer down until you no longer observe agglutination.  I hope this information is helpful.
