      Lanes 1 - 2: Merged signal (red and green). Green - ab75783 observed at 75 kDa. Red - loading control ab8245 (Mouse anti-GAPDH antibody [6C5]) observed at 37kDa.

      ab75783 was shown to react with KIF22 in HEK-293T wild-type cells in western blot with loss of signal observed in KIF22 knockout cell line ab266817 (KIF22 knockout cell lysate ab258018). Wild-type and KIF22 knockout HEK-293T cell lysates were subjected to SDS-PAGE. Membranes were blocked in 3% milk in TBS-T (0.1% Tween®) before incubation with ab75783 and ab8245 (Mouse anti-GAPDH antibody [6C5]) overnight at 4°C at a 1 in 1000 dilution and a 1 in 20000 dilution respectively. Blots were incubated with Goat anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (IRDye® 800CW) preabsorbed (ab216773) and Goat anti-Mouse IgG H&L (IRDye® 680RD) preabsorbed (ab216776) secondary antibodies at 1 in 20000 dilution for 1 hour at room temperature before imaging.

    Question

    Hi, I am interested in a KIF22/KID antibody that will work in zebrafish. None of your antibodies have zebrafish cross reactivity information. Where an epitope for the immunogen has been specified I've checked and the human vs zebrafish sequence varies quite a bit. Can you tell me which of the following antibodies has the best chance of working? Please let me know if you need more info to answer my question.     Thank you for contacting us and for your enquiry. As far as we are aware, non of our KIF22 antibodies has been tested with samples from zebrafish. All tested and guaranteed species cross-reactivity information is stated on our datasheets, and these are updated as soon as any new information is brought to our attention. I have checked the alignment of the immunogen sequences for the available antibodies with the zebrafish sequence. I am sorry that the alignment is very low in all cases, and regrettably we would not predict that any of the KIF22 antibodies would detect in Zebrafish. I am sorry that this is not better news for you on this occasion, and that we have no suitably tested KIFF22 antibodies available in our catalog. I would like to recommend checking the Biocompare website which has an excellent antibody search facility that includes many suppliers.
