機能
Participates in at least several B-cell activation processes as well as of other cell types. It is a costimulator of DNA-synthesis. It induces the expression of class II MHC molecules on resting B-cells. It enhances both secretion and cell surface expression of IgE and IgG1. It also regulates the expression of the low affinity Fc receptor for IgE (CD23) on both lymphocytes and monocytes. -

Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human tonsil tissue labeling IL-4 with ab300138 at 1/4000 dilution(0.14ug/ml), followed by Rabbit specific IHC polymer detection kit HRP/DAB (ab209101). Counterstained with Hematoxylin.
Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0, epitope retrieval solution2) for 20 mins.
Secondary antibody only control: Secondary antibody is a rabbit specific IHC polymer detection kit HRP/DAB (ab209101).
Positive staining on scattered immune cells of human tonsil. The section was incubated with ab300138 for 30 mins at room temperature.
