Biological function summary
Homeobox protein cut-like 2 is involved in the development of the nervous system and the regulation of cell growth and differentiation. It is not part of a larger complex but interacts with other transcription factors to modulate these processes. The protein's involvement is significant in neural development impacting neurogenesis and neural patterning. It coordinates with DNA repair pathways as well.
