This antibody is a carrier free version of ab287913.
Our carrier-free antibodies are typically supplied in a PBS-only formulation, purified and free of BSA, sodium azide and glycerol. The carrier-free buffer and high concentration allow for increased conjugation efficiency.
This conjugation-ready format is designed for use with fluorochromes, metal isotopes, oligonucleotides, and enzymes, which makes them ideal for antibody labelling, functional and cell-based assays, flow-based assays (e.g. mass cytometry) and Multiplex Imaging applications.

機能
Receptor for TNFSF6/FASLG. The adapter molecule FADD recruits caspase-8 to the activated receptor. The resulting death-inducing signaling complex (DISC) performs caspase-8 proteolytic activation which initiates the subsequent cascade of caspases (aspartate-specific cysteine proteases) mediating apoptosis. FAS-mediated apoptosis may have a role in the induction of peripheral tolerance, in the antigen-stimulated suicide of mature T-cells, or both. The secreted isoforms 2 to 6 block apoptosis (in vitro). -
組織特異性
Isoform 1 and isoform 6 are expressed at equal levels in resting peripheral blood mononuclear cells. After activation there is an increase in isoform 1 and decrease in the levels of isoform 6. -

Flow cytometric analysis of K-562 (Human chronic myelogenous leukemia lymphoblast, Left) / Raji(Human Burkitt's lymphoma B lymphocyte, Right) cells labeling Fas with ab289713 at 1/1000 dilution (Red) compared with a Mouse monoclonal IgG (Black) and an unlabelled control (cells without incubation with primary antibody and secondary antibody) (Blue). Goat Anti-Mouse IgG (Alexa Fluor® 647, ab150119), at 1/2000 dilution was used as the secondary antibody.
Negative control: K-562.
Gated on viable cells. -
