Translocation t(5;12) with PDGFRB on chromosome 5 creating an ETV6-PDGFRB fusion protein.
    Defects in ETV6 are a cause of acute myelogenous leukemia (AML) [MIM:601626]. AML is a malignant disease in which hematopoietic precursors are arrested in an early stage of development.

    Hi,

    We are interested in studying the protein ETV6/Tel, and in particular, we would like to perform a chromatin immunoprecipitation assay to determine ETV6 binding in a human cell line (MOLT4 cell line).

    I was unable to find an appropriate antibody in abcam's product listing for a ChIP-quality anti-ETV6 antibody.

    Would you be able to recommend me a product that would be suitable for our use? If not, would you be able to provide a test sample of your existing antibodies so that we can test their suitability for ChIP? If it works, I anticipate that we will be placing significant orders for the antibody in the future.

    None of them have been specifically tested for ChIP application. However, generally those antibodies which are suitable for ELISA/IHC (which require the recognition of the native form of the target protein ab23465, ab54705, ab64909) may also work in ChIP but optimization is essential and highly recommended.
