Thank you for your enquiry. When ab11062 was tested in IF with mouse NIH/3T3 fibroblasts, antigen retrieval was not performed. The cells were fixed with 3-4% paraformaldehyde and permeabilized with 0.2% Triton X-100. Ab11062 was used at a dilution of 1:1000. If you have any additional questions, please contact us again.

Thank you for your enquiry and your interest in our products. We regret to inform you that the cross-reactivity of ab11062 (cofilin 1) with cofilin 2 has not been tested yet. On the basis of poor sequence homology between human Cofilin 1 and Cofilin 2 for the sequence used as the immunogen for ab14133, it appears very unlikely that antibody will cross- react with human Cofilin 1. If you look at the large amount of homology throughout most of the two sequences until you get to aa 136, it is clear that this fragment was chosen to distinguish the two isoforms.
