Enhances RNA unwinding activity of DDX39A. May participate in important transcriptional or translational control of cell growth, metabolism and carcinogenesis. -

Low expression in spleen, liver, pancreas, testis, thymus, heart, and kidney. Increased levels are seen in hepatocellular carcinoma and pancreatic adenocarcinoma. -
