    ab50991 BTG1 antibody [2095C1a] Regarding the WB image, how much recombinant protein fragment was loaded? The predicted MW for unprocessed BTG1 is ~19 kDa, can you explain why you are detecting a band at ~32 kDa - is it tagged? Will this product crossreact with BTG2?

The originator of ab50991 (ab50991 BTG1 antibody [2095C1a]) has provided the following information: The WB image was obtained under the following conditions: -Primary Ab dilution; 1:100 -Secondary Ab dilution; 1:3000 -Immunogen amount; 50ng/lane -Secondary Ab detail; Sheep anti mouse IgG Original Concentration; Antibody 0.63mg/ml HRP 0.78mg/ml -Immunogen detail; Sequence: LIGQAAQRIGLSSQELFRLLPSELTLWVDPYEVSYRIGEDGSICVLYEASPAGGSTQNSTNVQMVDSRISCKEELL LGRTSPSKNYNMMT MW of Tag: approx. 20kDa The crossreactivity of ab50991 to BTG2 has not been examined. However, the product is unlikely to crossreact since BTG1 and BTG2 are ~60% homologous. Please don't hesitate to contact us again if you have any further questions.
