Interpolated concentrations of native ATG14L in human control wild type HeLa (human cervical adenocarcinoma epithelial cell) and ATG14 (ATG14L) knockout HeLa cell based on 250 ug/mL extract loads. The concentrations of ATG14L were measured in duplicate and interpolated from the ATG14L standard curve and corrected for sample dilution. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). The mean ATG14L concentration was determined to be 397.4 pg/mL in wild type HeLa extract (Human wild-type HeLa cell line ab255448) and 50.4 pg/mL in ATG14 (ATG14L) knockout HeLa extract (Human ATG14 (ATG14L) knockout HeLa cell line ab264684).

The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). Sample dilutions are made in antibody diluent CP2 (ab319981). Data represented here are indicative of assay working using example of biological sample. However, we do not guarantee same sensitivity level due to biological variation.

Plays a role in autophagosome formation and MAP1LC3/LC3 conjugation to phosphatidylethanolamine (PubMed : 19270696, PubMed : 20713597). Promotes BECN1 translocation from the trans-Golgi network to autophagosomes (PubMed : 20713597). Enhances PIK3C3 activity in a BECN1-dependent manner.
