Flow cytometric analysis of APC-iFluor^® 700 (Red Bar) or APC-Alexa Fluor^® 700 (Blue Bar) anti-human CD8 on human lymphocytes. Whole blood was stained with ab312830 or APC-Alexa Fluor^® 700 anti-human CD8 and compared to whole blood stained with a APC-iFluor^® 700 and APC-Alexa Fluor^® 700 mouse IgG control. Flow cytometry was performed on a ACEA flow cytometry system.

APC-iFluor® 700 Conjugation Kit provides a convenient method for labelling small amounts of monoclonal, polyclonal antibodies or other proteins (>10 kDa) with the Red Laser-excitable XFD750. This dye has a fluorescence maxima (Ex/Em) of 651/713 nm respectively. These characteristics make APC-iFluor® 700 Tandem an excellent replacement for APC-Alexa Fluor® 700 Tandem, since they have almost identical spectra. APC-iFluor® 700 Tandem is a stable dye and shows good reactivity and selectivity with protein amino groups.

This conjugation kit has all the essential components to perform two separate labelling reactions with no column purification needed. Each of the two vials of APC-iFluor® 700 Tandem provided in the kit is optimized for labelling ~50 μg antibody.

Impure antibodies or antibodies stabilized with bovine serum albumin (BSA) or gelatin will not be labelled well, Abcam offers a range of purification kits
