SMARCA6 also known as SWI/SNF-related matrix-associated actin-dependent regulator of chromatin subfamily A member 6 is a protein with a molecular weight of approximately 170 kDa. It functions as an ATPase and is an important component of chromatin remodeling complexes. SMARCA6 plays a role in modifying chromatin structure through ATP hydrolysis which influences gene expression.
