Potent activator of human Ca2+ -activated K+ channels of SK and IK types, selective over BK type channels (EC50 = 10 nM for increasing hIK current). At least 1000 times more potent than 1-EBIO (ab120258). Can be used in conjunction with CyPPA (ab120829) to distinguish SK1 and SK3 subtypes.
