It is expressed in diverse forms like loose connective tissue dense connective tissue cartilage bone blood and lymph each with distinct cellular arrangements fulfilling specific mechanical roles.

Connective tissue provides structural support protection and insulation to the body while also facilitating nutrient transport and waste removal. It plays an integral role in tissue repair and inflammation response.
