Thanks for your mail. I have some more questions. I read the reviews and reviews are not good regarding the antibody. I dont understand if the immunogen is a full length human Orc protien which has a mol weight of 97 Kda, why you get a band in place of 120 kd and a shorter band. I wonder is it a cross reacting band and actually no band for endogenous human Orc1 can not be detected with your antibody. Please clarify this point. I am hesitant to use that antibody in my study. Can you please check whether the immunogen was a human Orc1 protein or the yeast Orc1 protein.

Thank you for your patience, I was away on vacation and was thus unable to reply to you sooner. The immunogen used was Human ORC1 protein. The report of ab60 detecting a 120 kDa band was reported by a customer who used the antibody (see review on the online datasheet) and we don't have any more information at this time regarding the band size detected by this antibody. We make it a policy to post both good and bad reviews on our datasheets such that our customers can make the decision whether or not to go ahead and try the antibody.
