オリゴデンドロサイト・マーカー


オリゴデンドロサイトはオリゴデンドロサイト前駆細胞(OPC: Oligodendrocyte Precursor Cell)から分化した細胞で、シュワン細胞と共に、ニューロンの軸索の周りに存在するミエリン鞘を形成しています。オリゴデンドロサイトは 1 つの細胞から複数の樹状突起を伸ばし、複数の軸索に対してミエリン鞘を形成します。

ミエリン鞘はナトリウムチャネルが豊富なランヴィエ紋輪(Node of Ranvier)により区切られています。活動電位がそのランヴィエ紋輪間を跳躍するように伝導し、そのスピードは 200 m/s にも達します。
