I can confirm that the spiky bottomed vial is Item-F (Biotinylated anti mouse antibody) and the round bottomed vials Item C are recombinant prolacticn.

Unless there is some discoloration I don’t think you have much to worry about especially if the standard curve looks fine as it is likely just precipitation. Do you have a photo you could send me?

As the diluent does contain proteins and other solutes it would not be abnormal to see a little cloudiness or precipitates, especially after being stored at a low temperature and/or for a long period of time. Most of the time bringing the diluent up to room temperature, mixing it well and then diluting it to its 1X working concentration will help incorporate any protein aggregates.

Please let me know if warming and mixing the diluentdoes not dissolve the large chunks.

Thank you for your inquiry. Please see my answers to your questions below: 1. I can confirm that there are special Serum collection tubes commercially available from many vendors. But serum can also easily be extracted by your customer by hand. Take blood and incubate without addition of any reagents for 2 hours at 37C or over night at 4C. This will lead to coagulation of the blood. Spin down the vials and take the clear, cell-free supernatant which is the serum. 2. I can recommend serum to be stored at -20C. 3. I suggest to start with a serum dilution of 1:10 for the first test with this kit. I recommend to always at least run duplicate samples.
