Spinal cord section from transgenic mouse underwent oligodendrocyte depletion was co-stained with Iba1, a marker for microglia, in green. Lower panel shows the magnified inset, where DAPI channel was also included. Antigen retrieval was performed with 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 20 min at 97¯C in a water bath. Staining without antigen retrieval is not recommended as the signal was largely reduced.
