      Abcam’s anti-Toxocara canis IgG Human in vitro ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is designed for the accurate qualitative measurement of IgG class antibodies against Toxocara canis in Human serum and plasma.


      A 96-well plate has been precoated with Toxocara canis antigens to bind cognate antibodies. Controls or test samples are added to the wells and incubated. Following washing, a horseradish peroxidase (HRP) labelled Protein A conjugate is added to the wells, which binds to the immobilized Toxocara canis-specific antibodies. TMB is then catalyzed by the HRP to produce a blue color product that changes to yellow after adding an acidic stop solution. The density of yellow coloration is directly proportional to the amount of Toxocara canis IgG sample captured in plate.

      Specific antigens are coated on the 96-well plate, controls or test samples are added to the well and incubated. The wells are washed to remove any unbound Human anti-antigen antibodies (Ig). A horseradish peroxidase (HRP) labelled anti-Human Ig conjugate is added to the wells. TMB is then catalyzed by the HRP to produce a blue color product that changes to yellow after adding an acidic stop solution. The intensity of yellow coloration is directly proportional to the amount of Human anti-antigen Ig captured on the plate.

    Dear Sirs,
    for one of our customers we are searching for special tests for Toxocara
    canis etc.
    Could you please send us an updated offer for:
    ab108775
    Toxocara canis IgG Human ELISA Kit (ab108775)
    Additionally if you have a similar test for nematoda in cats important
    to test in Humans this would be of interest as well.
    We would need the pricing information + shipping costs, availablity as
    well as the data sheet please. Also exp. dates would be of interest!
    If there are additional consumables needed please let us know as well.

    I just send an quotation in a separate email with all shipping costs, etc.

    We do not have set expiry dates at Abcam, since antibodies and most of our otherproducts can last very long if stored properly. I can confirm that the reagents are stable up to the expiry date stated on the label when stored at 2-8 °C.

    We do have our Abcam guarantee that covers all our products for six month.
