The samples were prepaperd from primary rat oligodendrocytes and separated with nuclear extraction kit from Pierce (with the provided solutions and PMSF, protease and phosphatase inhibitors added). The total protein loaded for nuclear fraction was 9 ul and 18 ul for cytoplasmic both of which show exactly the same amount of beat-actin as a loading control.

Thank you for your feedback. Originally this antibody has not been tested on rat samples. Although the immunogen shares 100% identity between human and rat, it does appear that this antibody does not recognize rat hnRNP A1. Thank you for your time and effort.
