Velocardiofacial syndrome (VCFS) is a developmental disorder characterized by conotruncal heart defects, craniofacial anomalies, and learning disabilities and is phenotypically related to DiGeorge syndrome (DGS), both of which are associated with hemizygous 22q11 deletions. -
