特記事項
The Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG antibody (GAR) is covalently conjugated to 40 nm Gold Nanoparticles which have a unique protective coating that can withstand most extreme conditions (e.g. 2.5 M NaOH at 70°C for >1 hour). The irreversible attachment does not allow the desorption of the antibody, which is a major problem with products in which the antibody is only passively adsorbed to the metal.
To exchange the conjugated antibody into a different buffer specific to your application, centrifuge the conjugate in a microfuge at 9,000 x g for 6 minutes. Carefully remove the supernatant, gently tap the pellet and add the preferred buffer. It is important to avoid substances that have a very high affinity for gold (e.g. thiols).
If an incubation of the conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG with the target antibody is performed, do not centrifuge the gold complex after this stage (an antibody titration is recommended).

This product is manufactured by Expedeon, an Abcam company. It was previously called 40nm InnovaCoat® GOLD (10 OD) Goat Anti Rabbit IgG Conjugate. Expedeon product code 213-0200 is the same as the 200 µl size of this product and code 213-1000 is the same as the 1 mL size. -
