Mouse kidney sections stained for IgA on FFPE sections

Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections)
We used this antibody to stain mouse kidney that was processed into FFPE bocks. We used a dilution of 1:3200 and HIER using Sodium citrate pH6 buffer.

I am wondering if you could advise about Goat polyclonal Secondary Antibody to Mouse IgA - alpha chain (ab97231)

Was the Immunogen a heavy chain or a whole molecule of IgA?

Thank you for contacting us.

The whole molecule IgA was injected into the animal. The light chain antibody was then adsorbed out of the serum before the affinity purification, leaving with the heavy chain only.
