Additional Notes
Detection via EnVision mouse (Dako Cat #K4001)
No Signal detected-therefore no Image displayed.
Was tested with different Ab concentrations, Citrate and Tris buffer.
Due to excellent staining results with the CD33 clone SP266 (ab238784) from Abcam we did not follow up in more detail with this clone.
It can not be excluded that other Protocols e.g. other Epitope Retrieval Methods or Detection Systems might result in better IHC-P results.
Abcam response
Thank you for sharing this data with us. ab11032 has previously been shown to work in IHC-P on human tonsil, please see image on our datasheet. However, based on this review, it is clear that not all staining protocols are equally suitable for this antibody. We would welcome feedback from other researchers using ab11032.
The reviewer received a reward from Abcam’s Loyalty Program in thanks for submitting this Abreview and for helping the scientific community make better-informed decisions.
