Additional Notes
While this antibody may work on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue, I have not been able to achieve staining of CD105-positive human mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) grown in 3-D. The MSC 3-D cultures were fixed with 10% buffered formalin and embedded in paraffin. 5-micron sections were prepared via standard IHC methods. Both citrate and enzymatic digestion antigen retrieval methods were used. Primary antibodies for other antigens work well for these particular specimens and successfully imaged via IF microscopy.
