Additional Notes
Excellent immunostaining!
However, I do not know if it is specific.
Not only are subsets of cells in Islets of Langerhans intensely positive but also individual nerve fibres are positive (black arrowheads).
Abcam response
Thank you for sharing this data with us. We have had one attempt at IHC-P with ab133528 in our own lab and we observed both cytoplasmic and nuclear staining in some tissues (including tissue from human stomach, kidney and pancreatic cancer). Based on that result, we believe ab133528 might not be suitable for IHC-P, under our experimental conditions. We have not tested ab133528 on marmoset. We would welcome feedback from other researchers currently using this antibody.
The reviewer received a reward from Abcam’s Loyalty Program in thanks for submitting this Abreview and for helping the scientific community make better-informed decisions.
