Additional Notes
Human platelets were activated with a PAR1 peptide and are adherent to immobilized fibrinogen. Cells were fixed, permeabilized and stained with either a control mouse IgG or ab11024 against integrin alpha IIb (CD41 - green staining). The Abcam antibody gave a very clean, bright signal, primarily at the periphery of well spread platelets. Platelets were counterstained with rhodamine phalloidin to outline the cellular cytoskeleton.
