Abcam response
Thank you for having tested this antibody in dog, an untested species. The alignment of the immunogen with the target protein sequence is 100%. This percentage suggests there could be some cross-reactivity. We would like to invite more customers to our AbTrial program for testing ab32503 in dog samples. The signal is specific but faint. To optimise the intensity, I recommend the following: (1) use the antibody at the dilution 1/250 instead of 1/500, (2) test different durations of antigen retrieval in Citrate buffer.
