In many cases, microphthalmia/anophthalmia occurs in association with syndromes that include non-ocular abnormalities.     I received verification from Epitomics that they now recommend this antibody for use with mouse due to the fact that it produced a band at the expected molecular weight when tested in WB on a mouse cell line (F9).
