The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Use a concentration of 1.25 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 40 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 40 kDa). Good results were obtained when blocked with 5% non-fat dry milk in 0.05% PBS-T.
Use at an assay dependent concentration.
Titre using peptide based assay: 1:1562500.
SLC35C1 is involved in GDP-fucose import from the cytoplasm into the Golgi lumen. Defects in SLC35C1 are the cause of congenital disorder of glycosylation type 2C (CDG2C), also known as leukocyte adhesion deficiency type II (LAD2). The clinical features of CDG2C include mental retardation, short stature, facial stigmata, and recurrent bacterial peripheral infections with persistently elevated peripheral leukocytes.
