The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
生理活性The biological activity was determined by measuring the dose dependent mobilization of intracellular calcium (calcium flux) with human THP-1 cells. Significant calcium mobilization is observed with >500ng/mL of recombinant human MCP2. Human MCP2 also induces dose dependent chemotaxis of human THP-1 cells with an ED50=30-100 ng/mL.
% SDS-PAGE. Purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Purity: Greater than 95.0% as determined by:
(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.
(b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
備考For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).

Shipped at 4°C. Upon delivery aliquot and store at -20°C or -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze / thaw cycles.
Sterile solution containing no additives.
This product is an active protein and may elicit a biological response in vivo, handle with caution.
再構成Lyophilized from a concentrated (1mg/ml) sterile solution containing no additives. Reconstitute the lyophilized product in sterile 18MO-cm H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Monocyte chemoattractant protein 2
Monocyte chemotactic protein 2
Small-inducible cytokine A8
機能Chemotactic factor that attracts monocytes, lymphocytes, basophils and eosinophils. May play a role in neoplasia and inflammatory host responses. This protein can bind heparin. The processed form MCP-2(6-76) does not show monocyte chemotactic activity, but inhibits the chemotactic effect most predominantly of CCL7, and also of CCL2 and CCL5 and CCL8.
組織特異性Highest expression found in the small intestine and peripheral blood cells. Intermediate levels seen in the heart, placenta, lung, skeletal muscle, thymus, colon, ovary, spinal cord and pancreas. Low levels seen in the brain, liver, spleen and prostate.
配列類似性Belongs to the intercrine beta (chemokine CC) family.
翻訳後修飾N-terminal processed form MCP-2(6-76) is produced by proteolytic cleavage after secretion from peripheral blood monocytes.
