  • 機能May play an essential role in local proteolysis of the extracellular matrix and in leukocyte migration. Could play a role in bone osteoclastic resorption. Cleaves KiSS1 at a Gly-
    -Leu bond. Cleaves type IV and type V collagen into large C-terminal three quarter fragments and shorter N-terminal one quarter fragments. Degrades fibronectin but not laminin or Pz-peptide.

    Performed under reducing conditions.

    Predicted band size : 90 kDa
    Observed band size : 95,100 kDa (why is the actual band size different from the predicted?)
    Additional bands at : 30 kDa (possible non-specific binding),73 kDa (possible non-specific binding).

    Exposure time : 90 seconds

    This blot was produced using a 10% Bis-tris gel under the MOPS buffer system. The gel was run at 200V for 50 minutes before being transferred onto a Nitrocellulose membrane at 30V for 70 minutes. The membrane was then blocked for an hour using 3% Milk before being incubated with ab86657 overnight at 4°C. Antibody binding was detected using an anti-mouse IgM antibody conjugated to HRP, and visualised using ECL development solution.
