ELISA: Use at an assay dependent dilution.
IHC-P: Use at a concentration of 1 µg/ml. Perform antigen retrieval step using Citrate buffer, or buffered EDTA, or Glycol based solution before commencing with IHC staining protocol.
This antibody is suitable for the detection of occult mamma carcinoma cells in sentinel lymph nodes and in peripheral blood. The overall sensitivity of mammaglobin detection on paraffin sections of mamma carcinoma was reported to be >80% (Fanger et al. 2002; Han et al. 2003).
