The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
追加情報ELISA: Use at a concentration of 0.1 - 1 µg/ml.
ICC/IF: Used at a dilution of 1/25 (see Abreview).
IHC-P: 1/100. Perform heat mediated antigen retrieval before commencing with IHC staining protocol.
IP: Use 3µg for 107 cells.
WB: Use at a concentration of 0.5 - 2 µg/ml. Predicted molecular weight: 34 kDa.
Not yet tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
機能May be involved in transcriptional regulation through interaction with SNW1 and recruiting histone deactelyase HDAC1. May inhibit notch intracellular domain (NICD) transactivation. May play a role in embryonal development and tumor transformation or aspects of tumor progression. Antigen recognized on a melanoma by autologous cytolytic T-lymphocytes.
組織特異性Expressed in many tumors of several types, such as melanoma, head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, lung carcinoma and breast carcinoma, but not in normal tissues except for testes. Never expressed in kidney tumors, leukemias and lymphomas.
Immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed human melanoma stained for MAGE 1.
Immunocytochemistry/ Immunofluorescence - MAGE 1 antibody (ab21472)This image is courtesy of an Abreview submitted by Dr H Schwarzenbach
ab21472 staining the human breast cancer cell line, MCF-7, by ICC/IF. The cell line was stimulated with 5-aza-CdR for 72 hours. The treated cells, or a mock control were then stimulated by trichostatin A for 24 hours. ab21472 was used at a dilution of 1/25 and an Alexa Fluor ® 546 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG was used as the secondary.
